Dating from medieval times, The Chantry is Bridport’s oldest building and is situated at the bottom of South Street.
Colmer’s Hill is seen in the background.
It was used as a priest’s house for a large part of its history and is most notable for the columbarium, a pigeon-loft or dovecote, built on the top floor.
The nature of the broken stonework lends itself perfectly to depiction in this dots only pen and ink style.
Highly detailed dots only pen and ink drawing, titled and signed by the artist.
