At Carrick-a-Rede with Tess

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a famous rope bridge near Ballintoy in County Antrim. Suspended almost 100 ft (30 m) above sea level, the rope bridge was first erected by salmon fisherman 350 years ago.
The artist's Airdale Terrier dog, Tess, is seen still on the mainland side while a Great Skua is harrying around the island clifftop, a Black-headed gull is above and oystercatchers rush below the ropebridge. A diver speeds past too.

Dunluce Castle is a now ruined medieval castle, on the edge of a basalt outcropping in County Antrim, and is accessible via a bridge connecting it to the mainland.
